We also require one timekeeper and one scorekeeper for each individual Juniors Division and Seniors Division games. We provide training for all timekeepers, scorekeepers and non-certified referees. Games are held every Sunday, beginning after New Year’s Day and run for 8 - 9 weeks for a typical season with 13 games on a typical Sunday (5 Minors Division games, 5 Juniors Division games and 3 Seniors Division games). Minors and Seniors Division games are held at Conard High School and Juniors Division Games are held at Sedgwick Middle School. Coaching
The league uses volunteer coaches for all divisions in the league. We have both coaches who are parents with children on their team and we have non-parent coaches in the league as well. Each team needs a Head Coach and usually 1 - 4 Assistant Coaches to help manage a team. The Head Coach is appointed by the League President. The Head Coach then gets to pick who they would like for their Assistant Head Coach(es). Minors Division Coaches practice for one hour, once per week; Juniors and Seniors Coaches practice for 1 ½ hours twice per week. Practices typically begin the first week of December and run through the end of the season, which is typically anywhere from the end of February to mid-March. We provide comprehensive training for coaches so anyone interested, regardless of coaching experience or skill level should feel free to inquire about being a coach.
